Recently I picked up drawing and painting again. Inspirations are: Winsor McCay (Little Nemo), Dino Buzatti, Robert Crumb, Henry Darger, George Herriman (Krazy Kat), Hergé (Kuifje), Edgar P. Jacobs (Het Gele Teken), Maurice Sendak (Where The Wild Things Are), Dick Tuinder, Chris Ware, Sempé, Walt Disney, Pieter Breughel, Hieronymus Bosch, Jean and Laurent de Brunhoff (Babar) and Marjane Satrapi (Persepolis).

CAFE AMSTERDAM
I was invited by The Dutch Foundation of Literature to play at their presentation (Café Amsterdam) at the Literature Festival in Madrid and Barcelona. For these shows I made a serie of drawings and paintings that accompanied the songs in images and words. These were filmed and projected live in different sequences during our performance.
